Description
A beautifully woven rattan hanging basket, planted to look full and established from the day it arrives. Pink and blush heathers rise through golden conifer and berried skimmia, with deep purple and golden yellow pansies set through the heart of the arrangement and ruby photinia foliage adding warmth at the edges. Long lengths of variegated ivy trail over the woven rim, softening the whole piece.
The dark rattan frame gives this one a slightly softer, more natural feel than our chain-hung baskets — equally at home beside a front door, under a porch or on a garden wall bracket. Planted by hand in Hamilton, lined and ready to hang straight away, with no potting or arranging needed.
Please note: hanging baskets are hand-delivered by us and available for local delivery only, within Hamilton and the surrounding areas. They cannot be delivered nationwide.

- Hang in a bright spot out of harsh, drying winds — a sheltered wall, porch or doorway is ideal
- Water once or twice a week through autumn and winter, more often in mild or windy spells — the compost should feel damp, never soaking
- Check the basket after frost: lift it gently and only water when the compost has thawed
- Do not water while the basket is frozen, and avoid leaving it standing in water, as waterlogged roots are the main cause of winter losses
- Pinch off faded pansy flowers and any yellowing leaves to keep the planting full and encourage new buds
- Trim trailing ivy lightly if it outgrows its shape — the heathers and skimmia need no pruning
- A liquid feed once a month from early spring will carry the planting on into the new season
- Expected display life: right through the winter season, with the evergreen foliage lasting well beyond it
- Which areas do you deliver baskets to?
Hamilton and the surrounding areas only. Our baskets are planted and delivered by hand, so they cannot be sent nationwide by courier. If you are unsure about your postcode, please get in touch before ordering. - Does it arrive ready to hang?
Yes. Each basket is fully planted and delivered complete with its chain or wall bracket — simply hang it and water it in. - How long will it last?
The planting is chosen for winter hardiness and will hold its look right through the season, with the evergreen foliage carrying on well beyond it. - Will frost damage it?
No — the heathers, skimmia, conifer, pansies and ivy are all frost hardy. Just avoid watering while the compost is frozen. - Can I order a matching pair or a custom colour?
Yes. Pairs look beautiful either side of a door. Contact us and we will plant to your colours.
