When do I need to order by?
Order before 2pm Monday to Friday and your flowers will be dispatched that day for next working day delivery. Orders placed after 2pm are dispatched the following working day. It is a simple rule, and it means that in most cases your flowers will arrive within 24 hours of you placing the order.
What about weekends?
We do not dispatch on Saturdays or Sundays. If you place an order on a Friday after 2pm, Saturday, or Sunday, your flowers will be dispatched on Monday and delivered on Tuesday. If you are ordering for a Monday occasion, place your order before 2pm on Friday to be safe.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is £6.95 flat rate across the whole of the UK, including Hamilton, Motherwell, East Kilbride, Lanark, and Glasgow. There are no postcodes we refuse — if you are in the UK, we can reach you.
How are the flowers packaged?
Every Carnation House bouquet is hand-arranged and packed in a signature presentation box, designed to protect the stems during transit and to look beautiful on arrival. Flowers are conditioned before dispatch so they arrive fresh and ready to open over the following days.
What if the recipient is not home?
Our courier will follow the delivery instructions provided at checkout. If nobody is home, they will typically leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour and leave a card. Because flowers are perishable, we recommend specifying a safe location or ensuring someone will be in if possible. If you have specific delivery instructions, add them in the notes field at checkout.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
We do not currently offer a date-picker at checkout. If you have a specific date in mind — a birthday, anniversary, or funeral — contact us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do you deliver locally in Hamilton?
Yes. Carnation House is based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire, and we deliver to all Hamilton postcodes as standard. If you need a bouquet to reach somewhere in Hamilton quickly, place your order before 2pm on a weekday and it will be with the recipient the following working day.
